Our club enjoys an array of community and civic projects and activities, including:

Benevolence Committee   We donate to various worthy organizations that work to enrich our environment or community.

Featured Gardens Six gardens selected and photographed per year. Each home has a Featured Garden sign placed in their yard for the growing season. Photos will be featured in the Twinsburg Bulletin and on the Club’s Facebook page and website.  One garden is selected for our “Garden of the Year” and award is presented at our October meeting.  

Holiday Swags Our members make beautiful fresh pine swags that are displayed on signs and buildings around the City of Twinsburg.

Library Garden, Bike Path Garden, Native Garden Plots at Community Gardens, Herb Garden at the Stone House on Liberty Rd. We plant and maintain these native plant gardens. Additionally, we worked with the Eagle Scouts who built fences around two of the gardens.

“Native Plant Education Program” TGC co-sponsors this education event with the Twinsburg Library and is part of the TGC continuing education series.

May Plant Sale Our main fundraiser! Plant Sale is held the Saturday before Mother’s Day and we have available for sale annuals, perennials, hanging baskets and gift ideas for Mom.

Scholarships   Scholarships are awarded to Twinsburg High School students.

May special program Native Plants: Gardening with a Purpose Part of the TGC continuing education series co-sponsored with the Twinsburg Parks and Rec Department. Expert speakers, along with native plant vendors, are in attendance. The event is held at the Twinsburg Community Center and is free and open to the public.
